• Food Handlers (i.e. any individual who prepares food and beverage products in NEA-licensed eating establishments)
Upon completion of this unit, participants will have the knowledge and skills in Food Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures and be able to apply them at their workplace. These include:
Practicing good personal hygiene
Using safe ingredients
Handling food safely
Storing food safely
Maintaining cleanliness of utensils, equipment & service/storage areas.
To equip food handlers with the knowledge and application skills in Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures and can be able to apply them in their workplace.
At the end of the course, participants will be required to undergo an assessment for 1.5 hours which comprises of practical performance (PP), multiple choice questioning (MCQ) and written assignment.

Teacher to Student Ratio
To ensure that all students have sufficient time to learn and practice their skills, we have allocated 1 teacher per 20 students. (1:20)
Successful candidates who are certified competent, will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
